1. Independent Contractor Status

a. You acknowledge and agree that you are an independent contractor and not an employee, partner, or agent of Lux.

b. As an independent contractor, you are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and compliance with local regulations.

2. Qualifications and Credentials

a. You must possess valid qualifications and credentials as a massage therapist in accordance with the laws and regulations of the jurisdiction in which you operate.

b. You agree to provide proof of your qualifications and credentials upon request by Lux.

3. Code of Conduct

a. You are expected to conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times when representing Lux Vita Spa.

b. You agree to adhere to high standards of ethical conduct, respecting the privacy and dignity of clients at all times.

c. Any form of inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, or misconduct, will not be tolerated and may result in termination of your contract with Lux Vita Spa.

4. Appointment Management

a. You are responsible for managing your own schedule and availability through our platform.

b. You agree to honor all confirmed appointments and arrive punctually at the designated location.

c. In the event that you are unable to fulfill a scheduled appointment, you must notify Lux and the client as soon as possible to reschedule or cancel the appointment.

5. Safety and Security

a. Your safety is paramount to us. If you ever feel uncomfortable or unsafe at a client's location, you have the right to terminate the appointment and leave the premises immediately.

b. You agree to notify Lux Vita Spa immediately of any incidents or concerns regarding your safety or security during appointments.

6. Confidentiality

a. You must maintain the confidentiality of all client information and records obtained during the course of your services.

b. You agree not to disclose any confidential information to third parties without the explicit consent of the client and Lux Vita Spa.

7. Compensation

a. Compensation for your services will be provided in accordance with the terms agreed upon in your contract with Lux.

b. Withdrawals for earnings accrued through Lux Vita Spa may be facilitated via Mpesa for users in the East Africa Region. For users outside the East Africa Region, or even those within the region who prefer an alternative method, withdrawals can be made through Paypal.

c. You are responsible for providing accurate payment information and ensuring the security of your withdrawal method. Lux Vita Spa holds no liability for any inaccuracies or security breaches resulting from your negligence in this regard.

d. Any fees associated with the withdrawal method chosen are your responsibility and will be deducted from your earnings accordingly.

8. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

a. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards governing the practice of massage therapy in your jurisdiction.

b. Lux reserves the right to terminate your contract if you are found to be in violation of any laws or regulations.

9. Termination

a. Lux reserves the right to terminate your contract at any time for any reason, with or without cause.

b. Upon termination, you agree to cease representing Lux and using our platform for booking appointments.

10. Amendments to Terms

a. Lux reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you in writing.

b. Your continued engagement with Lux following any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
